Heather Hawes is Executive Director of the Small Business Center of Excellence (SBCoE). Heather is a founding partner of Modern Marketing Partners, and IDeas BIG (brand identity group). Heather has experience across many industries and categories, and all marketing disciplines. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Iowa, and is an MBA candidate of Northern Illinois University.
Lindsay Brown is Operations Director of the Small Business Center of Excellence (SBCoE). Lindsay is Director of Digital Marketing and a partner at Modern Marketing Partners. Lindsay specializes in startups of all types, along with experience with technology brands. She is Google Analytics and AdWords certified, earning a Bachelor of Science from the Illinois State University.
Neil Brown is Chairman of the Small Business Center of Excellence (SBCoE), and Chief Marketing Officer of Modern Marketing Partners, and IDeas BIG (brand identity group). Prior to his agency career, Neil held client-side brand manager and CMO roles. With a career spanning 25 years, Neil is expert in all aspects of in marketing, startups, and business development. Author of 3 books, Neil has published in Marketing News, Advertising Age, BtoB magazine, and is a frequent guest speaker.
